As the UI/UX Designer behind MyCampus, my mission was to build an integrated academic information system that simplifies every aspect of campus life. Rather than creating another administrative platform, I focused on designing a seamless digital ecosystem where students, lecturers, and academic staff can access everything they need through a modern, intuitive, and efficient interface.
The project began with understanding the workflows of students, lecturers, and academic administrators. Through user research, interviews, and user journey mapping, I identified several common challenges including complicated course registration, scattered academic information, inefficient communication, unclear academic progress, and time-consuming administrative processes.
I designed a clear information architecture that enables users to register courses, access class schedules, monitor grades, download academic documents, communicate with lecturers, submit assignments, and track academic progress effortlessly.
To ensure consistency across the entire platform, I developed a scalable design system consisting of typography, color palettes, spacing, reusable components, icons, navigation patterns, form elements, tables, dashboards, and responsive layouts.
The platform includes a personalized student dashboard, online course registration (KRS), academic transcripts, grade reports, attendance tracking, class schedules, assignment management, digital announcements, tuition payment information, lecturer communication, campus events, academic calendars, notification center, responsive mobile experience, and an administration dashboard for managing students, lecturers, courses, and academic operations.
Throughout the project, I focused on balancing usability, accessibility, scalability, and modern visual aesthetics. Every interface was designed to simplify academic workflows while creating an engaging and productive digital environment for every campus user.
This project demonstrates my ability to transform complex academic workflows into an intuitive digital experience through user research, UX strategy, wireframing, prototyping, interface design, design systems, usability testing, and close collaboration with developers.
The final result is a modern, scalable, and user-friendly academic information system that empowers students, lecturers, and administrators to accomplish their daily academic activities with confidence.
